A brilliant day for Fakenham under 15s at Crusaders 10s tournament today left all the players full of cheer and honor.

A total of four games were played with all the results in favour of Fakenham.

First Fakenham took on the hosts where they battled it out for a 15 points win to 5. A strong Fakenham defence kept out the crusaders attack right to the end where Fakenhams captain a season prior tried to snipe his way through to no avail.

The second game was against a short handed lowestoft but in the spirit of the game Fakenham lended them a player and commenced. Full back cayden dashed through the gaps like a viper, hungry for the first points. At first it was hard to determine who would come through victorious but after numerous chips over and kicks through from Jake and Sam, lowestoft soon showed signs of fatigue and Fakenham ran away with the lead once again winning 15 points to 5.

The third game was against the well conditioned west norfolk where many crunching tackles were heard on the sideline, most of all those made by Charles and Connor. A series of turn over scrums and tricky switch plays in the backs landed Fakenham a 20 points to 10 win.

The last game was played straight off the back of the previous game with no time to rest. The Fakenham forwards were relentless in thier hard line carries despite the fatigue setting in. Hard running from Harvey, Arthur and Alex soon wore out the Diss defence so that captain and speedster Jake Funnell could run in some very entertaining tries.
A close game neck and neck to end, but in the dying moments a full team effort and some outstanding handling gifted Otis a try in the corner. The final whistle was blown and the score was 15 points to Fakenham and 10 points to Diss.

A huge team cheer from players, parents and spectators was heard and a long and well deserved applause for the players that scored the winning tries;
