The first half was dominated by the away side. They scored an unconverted try after 4 minutes, before scoring a converted one less than 10 minutes later.

Soon after Diss scored another unconverted try, before securing the bonus point by scoring their fourth try, this one unconverted, on the half hour mark.

The final score of the half went to the Barbarians as they scored an unconverted try to keep them in touch.

Nonetheless, the first half clearly belonged to Diss as the score at the break was 5 - 22.

A true game of two halves, the Barbarians dominated the second period. They scored 4 tries, with 2 conversions, while keeping Diss scoreless to secure the win, 29 - 22.

Pick of the tries probably went to George Rolland-Barry, who was making his return from a few weeks out. From inside his own 22, he gassed everyone then swan dived over the posts. Or so he tells me, we'll let you decide how true you think that is.

A great result for the Barbarians, and a brilliant fight back, coming from 22 points down to score 29 unanswered points.

Next week the Barbarians have a week off. They return on November 14th, travelling to Holt 3rd XV. Come along and support the boys if you can.
