The Dereham & Fakenham Barbarians travelled to West Norfolk for their second league game of the season, looking to continue their momentum from a good couple of results.

However, they came up against an organised and determined West Norfolk 2nd XV side.

It was a tough battle but West Norfolk ran out winners in the end despite the Barbarians battling to the final whistle.

Unfortunately the game was finished ten minutes before the end due to an injury to one of the West Norfolk players. Everyone at the Barbarians wishes him a speedy recovery.

The try scorers the Barbarians were Tom Bane-Young and Harvey Brown with one each, while Matty Taylor got two. Brown successful hit two conversions and a ond penalty.

The Man of the Match went to Matty Taylor.

There is no Barbarians game next week, but they are back in action the following week, welcoming Norwich Medics to the Stronger Ground on October 17th. Come along and support the boys, it is always appreciated.
