Fakenham travelled away to Ely for the fourth round of London 3 Eastern Counties fixtures.
Unfortunately, Fakenham were never quite at the races and were 40 - 7 down at half time, the try scored by Tom Bane-Young and converted by his brother Joe Bane-Young.
A much improved second half performance followed, but Fakenham still conceded another 20 points, leaving the final score at 60 -7 to Ely.
Barsham Brewery man of the match was Joe Airey for his tackling and 100% effort in a tough 80 minutes.
This Saturday we welcome Wisbech to the Stringer ground, good numbers and a solid session last night has confidence up, but we are under no illusions it will be a tough game.
