Walking Rugby session changes

As a group we restarted restricted sessions on the 15th July, which were limited to rugby themed games like rugby volley-ball and rugby rounders. Recently we have moved to Phase 4 of the RFU’s ‘Return to Rugby; schedule and are now allowed to play touch rugby again; much to the joy of the stalwarts.

A typical session now involves:
A gentle warm-up.
A rugby themed game – volley-ball over the crossbar being the most popular, and
A game of walking rugby – effectively touch rugby at a brisk walk

So if you’re missing the fun and exercise from pre-lockdown come back and join us on Wednesday evenings.

If you haven’t been before, come and give it a try; we are a mixed age group with both sexes well represented.

Sessions start at 1850 every Wednesday and last an hour
