A strong start for the Fakenham under 15s saw them neck and neck with Holt for the first 15 minutes of the game this sunday morning.
A firm defence and some powerful scrummaging kept them in the game until holt slipped through the gaps and scored a succession of tries back to back.
New comer and formidable prop, OJ, was given a rest after 20 minutes where a another debut player, Jack, was given his time to shine.
Lock forward Arthur garrod made countless attempts to batter his way through the holt defence which eventually led to him scoring a try for Fakenham, The first points of the season.
Unfortunately Fakenham were unable to get ahead but the energy and effort remained constant.
Man of the match was awarded to Arthur for his powerful and relentless attacking runs, and a large ovation given to this seasons captain, Jake Funnell for his outstanding leadership throughout the game.
Next week we travel to crusaders for thier 10s tournament which will once again be an interesting display of might and skill.
